Hello Students and Families!
I hope you are happy and healthy! I miss seeing you all. We are going to keep working hard, because even though our building is closed, we can still learn! I'm also interested in what you are doing to help pass the time while "social distancing"! Personally, I've been riding my bike a lot, cleaning my house and catching up with movies. I finally saw FROZEN and Frozen 2! (I liked the first one better)
For the week of 3/29 to 4/5, I have selected some more review assignments for you to complete online at Big Ideas Math (BIM). All assignments can be found online (see textbook link on my home website page). There will also be a paper-based version that can be picked up at SLA. All assignments are due Sunday, April 5th. You can find a variety of resources on Big Ideas like videos and sample problems to guide you through each review. Once we start with new material, I will also post videos and instructional items on the Resources tab on this page.
You can always email me with any questions or concerns! My email is [email protected] . Once we get started with Zoom, I will set up office hours and appointments for small group or one-on-one help.
Week of March 29 to April 5th:
1)Chapter 10.2 Exercises - pg. 420 # 3-8, 12-14, 25-27
2)Ch 10.3 Exercises - pg. 426 # 3-6, 16-21
3)Chapter 10.4 page 432 Exercises # 5-12, 20-27
Once students have completed assignments, students can see a summary of the questions they answered correctly and incorrectly, as well as partially correct. By clicking “Show Details,” students can see a detailed list of the questions, along with the available remediation for the questions they answered incorrectly or partially correct. I highly suggest looking over the remediation video which will help students understand why they got a particular question or concept incorrect.
